Robert Capa “Photographs beyond the war”, exhibition at Villa Bassi Rathgeb

The exhibition, curated by Marco Minuz and promoted by the Municipality of Abano Terme at Villa Bassi Rathgeb from 15 January to 5 June 2022, aims to get Capa out of the stereotype of “the best war photojournalist in the world”, as the prestigious English magazine Picture Post defined him in 1938. The aim is instead to focus attention on his photography away from the war.
