“From the Romantics to Segantini”, exhibition at the Centro Culturale Altinate San Gaetano

The collection 

The construction of the exhibition is based on the impressive collection of the Oskar Reinhart Foundation, which is part of the unique network of the Kunst Museum Winterthur, one of the most interesting art centres in Switzerland.

In Marco Goldin’s mind, the exhibition project stems from his more than twenty years’ study of nineteenth-century art in Europe and the world, which led to his very recent and successful book, published in October 2021 by La nave di Teseo, “Il giardino e la luna. Arte dell’Ottocento dal romanticismo all’impressionismo”, a vast and articulated fresco on nineteenth-century painting.
